Your people. Your data.

Privacy at Quizzo.

Quizzo stores your email for sign-in and optional notifications, your display name, group memberships, questions, guesses, and results. Groups are private: only active members can view their game data. Organisers manage membership.

Who processes your data?

Quizzo uses Cloudflare to host the website, Supabase for authentication and database storage, and Brevo to deliver emails. Cloudflare Turnstile protects sign-in requests. Fonts load from Google Fonts, and question images load from the URLs supplied by setters; those services receive normal network information when your browser requests them.

Answers and sources

Correct answers and sources are withheld until a round closes. The public starter tie-breaker bank is published with the source code, so its answers can be looked up. Groups may use their own private bank instead.

Cookies and preferences

We use essential authentication cookies. There are no advertising or analytics trackers. You can disable setter emails in your account; sign-in emails are still necessary to access the service.

Leaving and deleting

Leaving a group preserves your historical results. Deleting your account removes your login, email and display name, deletes groups you own, and anonymises your past contributions in other groups. Game content you submitted remains there, so avoid putting personal information into questions or sources.

Where backups are retained, deleted data may remain in them until the applicable retention period expires.
